BRIT Awards Hairstyles 2013

Red Carpet Hairstyles from the 2013 BRIT Awards

The 2013 BRIT Awards took place at the O2 in London with the biggest names in music and showbiz gathering to honour British music.  From the comfort of our armchairs and via the wonders of technology we’ve compiled our favourite and tragic looks from the 2013 BRIT Awards Hairstyles.

The Best BRIT Awards Hairstyles 2013

Little Mix were just gorgeous with their 2013 BRIT Awards hairstyles and outfits.  We love how these girls are a solid strong group but they’ve all kept their own individual style.  From Perrie’s pastel purple hair colour to the petrol blue hue in Jade’s BRIT Awards hairstyle we think these girls are great role models and great ambassadors for hair trends and hair colours.

This one might divide opinion but Paloma Faith’s 2013 BRIT Awards hairstyle was a far cry from her recent outlandish BAFTAs hair do.  We’ve heard Paloma’s BRITs hair style described as ‘Poodle-like’ but we loved her tight curls piled high with her signature fiery red hair colour tinged with thick blonde highlights.

She’s from just over the water so we couldn’t miss her out, Liverpool’s XFactor finalist Rebecca Ferguson showed the world how to rock a typical ‘Scouse curly blowdry with Liverpool’s trademark answer to glamorous hair – hair extensions!  (Don’t forget, we’re your local experts when it comes to hair extensions on the Wirral).  The Merseyside Mum and songstress looked fantastic in her long black gown, keeping in with the recurring theme for a lot of the ladies at the 2013 BRIT Awards.

Taylor Swift has given a virtual two fingers to ex fling Harry Styles with this gorgeous Ellie Saab floor length gown which is finished off beautifully thanks to her perfect girl-next-door honey blonde highlighted hair and strong fringe.  Now they may never…ever…ever… be getting back together but we’ll bet that little teenage tinker Harry Styles most definitely misses Taylor’s feminine charms seeing her look this hot at the 2013 BRIT Awards.

The Men’s BRIT Awards Hairstyles of 2013

It seemed like the order of the day was high, slick and quiff when it came to men’s hairstyles at the 2013 BRIT Awards.  This is going to sound a bit mean, but here goes… we don’t really get the obsession with Connor Maynard (remember that scene from ET? Where he’s ill? Connor just reminds us of that… terrible we know!) So whilst he could do with nicking some of his Mum’s bronzer to perk up his grey complexion, we do like his voluminous hair which is very on trend for 2013.

Justin Timberlake can do no wrong and his shiny suit matched his shiny slicked back hair – a great look for the BRIT Awards.

Robbie Williams wore a multitude of colourful suits and it looks to us like he may have coloured his hair here as his high quiff looks a little darker than usual.  Nothing wrong with that of course!  Why grow old gracefully when you can cheat and remain youthful???

Long floppy hair also made an appearance with Tom Odell showing us that the Ombre hair trend can work for a man do too.  Then last but by no means least the heartthrob that is Harry Styles has recently been voted as having the Best Celebrity Hairstyle with his trademark floppy do.  The rest of his bandmates looked slick with their BRIT Awards 2013 hairstyles.

Makeup at The BRIT Awards

Delilah’s Ombre hair colour was perfectly complemented by her coral lip colour which really set her makeup alight.  Perfectly sculptured eyebrows helped finish off and frame her facial features.

Sometimes less really is more and we think this can be said for Melanie Sykes’ BRIT Awards red carpet makeup.  It just seemed like her makeup was trying to hard for her and she was more Joker from Batman.  It should’ve been “Why so sexy” rather than “Why so serious” but Ms Sykes usually looks picture perfect so we’ll just call this one a blip, OK?

Rita Ora is well known for her love of blood red lipstick, however this somewhat Bridesmaid style dress clashed against the vibrant red tones of her lipstick.  We hope she borrowed a bit of Delilah’s coral lipgloss in the loos to correct this.
