How long will my balayage appointment take?
The length of time it takes for a balayage hair colouring services largely depends on the final look you are after and what previous colouring services you may have had. Sometimes it may take several colour applications to get the exact look you want and could take your expert colourist up to 4 hours to perfect the look.
If you have old colour on your hair or you want a bright, creative colour (pink/ bright purple/ red/ silver/grey etc ) we would most likely need to lighten your hair first, and then apply the creative colour over the top. A toner may need to be used within the colour service (to remove unwanted warm tones).
If you have natural hair which hasn’t been coloured before and simply want to have a few different shades added, it might take just one appointment.
Do I need to prepare my hair before my balayage hair colour service?
Prior to your colour appointment, we will invite you in for a complimentary hair colour consultation so you can talk to your stylist. This gives the opportunity to discuss ideas and ensure the balayage look you want is achievable. We will check the condition of your hair If the hair and may advise a course of Olaplex treatments or deep conditioning treatments beforehand to rebuild the hair.
